Mirror, mirror, on the wall
Won't you tell me true
Even though I feel so small
Do I look that way to you?

The burdens of the daily grind
make me forget my stature
All the cares and strife in life
Seem all that really matter

But in those moments when I'm small
YOU remind me of my spark
With every encouraging word you say
You lift me from the dark

And then I look at myself again
and see what you see too
I know I'm special to someone dear
and my spirit is refreshed anew

Mirror, mirror, it used to be
I didn't much care to see
my little self, alone and weary
staring back at me

But now I glow with pride and light
and look at you with pleasure
My dearest friend has uplifted me
And my new reflection I treasure

And now when I look in the mirror each day,
It's so wonderful to see
Someone who has a special friend,
one who means the world to me!
