This morning I found a dragon green
in my house a-prancing
I tried to sweep him out the door
but he just kept on dancing

My shooing was to no avail
the little critter was sprightly
and then I saw him shake his tail
and laugh at me so brightly

He grinned a great big dragon grin
and then looked me in the eye
"I am your conscience here to tell you
something by and by...

You erred my friend, he pranced and said
you know my words are true
Did you breathe fire on someone dear?
For shame! That's what dragons do!

You're human not dragon, so it's your choice
If wrongs you did or said
To apologize for that which hurt those close
and weigh on your heart like lead."

So if I said something hurtful or bad
Forgive me and come out to play
In our cyber garden so this doggone Dragon
Will finally go on his way...
