Angels have taught me something for which I will be eternally grateful, but in typical Angel fashion, they gave me their teachings indirectly. Although I have been involved in new age studies for several years now, I am still logical and rational (at least I think so)! I've done all the energy work, the meditations, the Meet Your Angels and Guides workshops, the past life regressions, the chakra clearings. well, you see where I'm going with this, but my feet are on the ground. The funny thing was, that try and try - I never could get an Angel to speak to me, or to pop into my field of vision so I could say 'hi!'. I kept attributing this lack of physical proof to something I wasn't doing quite right, or my general lack of visualization skills. Oh, yes - I know the consensus on that one too. We all have different and unique gifts - where one individual can 'see' psychially (clairvoyance), another one can 'hear' things (clairaudience) and still the third can just 'feel' (clairsentience). Well, I had all the psychic doors open (I wasn't about to be choosy) - and I just kept waiting, but no Angels showed up to visit. Well, maybe Angels just aren't my 'thing', I said to myself. After all, I'd never really ever focused on them, preferring instead to explore the world of psychism and tools such as scrying, tarot, etc. Little did I know that Angels were just around the corner! When I originally envisioned my New Age website, my focus was on Tarot, which is my main field of expertise. As I developed the site, though, (it was a rather fast and furious creative process which didn't leave much time for thinking) - I noticed that angelic influences were creeping in - gently stealing the spotlight - and somehow being an anchor or magnet on the site. I received angel stories to post, I was given angel pictures, I found angel graphics for the site. As I browsed and surfed the web in my work, I was drawn to Angel sites, and somehow, by osmosis I guess, I think I actually drew the Angels into my very soul. It was exciting, and really just felt right. With a totally natural 'knowing', I developed my own style of angel readings and I KNOW the angels guide me in this. I consider it the highest honour to be able to help others through the Angels, and, since I've been helping other people meet their angels, the presence of my own Angels has become a reality. I have the utmost faith and confidence that the angels are guiding me in my work - and the letters I receive from people about Angels bring tears to my eyes every day. From thousands of letters I've received, I've learned that each individual has his or her own way of 'knowing' their angels. No one way is better than the other - each way brings equal amounts of comfort and peace. The most important thing the Angels want us to do is to spread their love - and, that 's the REALLY fun part. Some time ago, through a series of synchronicities and other wonders, I came to know that I have three angels who are with me all the time - they are lovely white beings and they form a triangle as they hover above me . And the highlight of my angel quest so far is that I finally got to see angels in living colour. I had been having a fitful sleep on a leaking air mattress while visiting out-of-town, and when I opened my eyes during the night - there they were - two gorgeous angels floating near the ceiling of the room. Yes, I blinked a few times to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing, and then promptly rolled over and fell back asleep. I hope they come back soon so I can speak to them next time, instead of snoring for them (smile). I still have yet to ‘see’ an Angel in broad daylight, like maybe at my kitchen table, but I KNOW they are around, and maybe one day it will happen. Angels are truly everywhere.
