JENNY, THE ANGEL
Words: Gloria Nissenson
Music: Dennis Buck

Jenny, the saddest angel
Was locked up in a trunk,
Unloved, unwashed, ignored and squashed
With old antiques and junk.

For years up in the attic
She wore a constant frown
Till suddenly there turned a key
That turned her life around.

As two little hands caressed her,
She heard a child say,
"Mommy, come and see,
I found the saddest angel.
Let's hang her on the tree."

They washed her and they dressed her
They made her good as new
They hung her on the Christmas tree
For the family to view.

When Grandma came to visit,
A miracle occurred,
'Cause she remembered Jenny,
And Jen remembered her.

Grandma lost that Christmas angel
When she was just a child,
And right there on that Christmas morn,
The saddest angel smiled.
