Heavenly Visions

My Mother died in 1986. Before she died, she asked who is that man standing in the robe, at the head of her bed. My brother said, it must be an angel ,Mom. The night before she died, God showed me in a vision Mom, walking with Jesus and asking all the unanswered questions she had. And he was explaining it all to her. She died the next morning. He also in a vivid dream, sent her back, to let me know that she was real happy. And also busy. She was beautiful. I stopped grieving right then. It just went away. God cares.

Hovercraft:

My dear mother was in a coma for 2 1/2 months when suddenly on Easter Sunday she woke up as lucid as if she had just taken a quick nap. She remained in the hospital for physical therapy another two weeks before her passing. A blood clot in her lung suddenly stole her from earth..to transplant her into the realm of angelhood.

One night as I sat vigil by her bed..she said with a peaceful grin on her face, "Look at them..they're hovering." Again..so softly...and with a peace that surpassed my understanding she said, "They're hovering..ohhhh look!"

My mother was a strong, tough woman. Angel believing was not her forte..therefore, I knew that what she was seeing was the real thing. ..Upon her sudden death..I was the only one of her 9 children who felt completely at ease....knowing she's not with us...not on the earthly plain..but ...as my very own hovercraft..my angel,....my mom.

Thank you for your web inspirations!

Divine Timing

Only a year ago my husband had a serious bicycle accident. I had been on my way into town to get groceries and shop for a birthday present for my sister-in-law. Just before I got into town I had to stop at a stoplight. It was there my car stalled and I wasn't able to get it to stay running. Two men who had been behind me in the lane pulled over to the side of the road and hopped out to help me. I'd not had this trouble before and didn't know what was wrong. They pushed my car to the side of the road where I tried once more to start the car and it stayed running then. One of the men asked me if I was far form home. I said that I was headed into town to do shopping but that home was back the other direction. He looked at me closely and said "I really think you should just go ahead and go home if you really don't have to do any shopping. I know your car is running fine now but I just feel that you should go ahead and go on home." I thought it was strange that he would say that so earnestly. The car was running fine but it made me feel uneasy and I did go ahead and turn around and head home. Just shortly before I got there an ambulance passed me and far ahead I saw it turn onto my road. I though "Oh I hope it's not someone I know."
Just a few moment later the ambulance pulled out of the road and headed up to town again. When I got there my neighbors were waiting for me and told me what had happened with my husband. He'd just been taken to the hospital with a serious head injury. He ended up being in a coma for several days. Because I'd gone home earlier than I planned though I was able to get to the emergency room soon enough to talk to my husband before he became unconscious. It helped me through the whole ordeal to remember those men and their earnest words to send me home to my husband. They were my angels on earth. To this day there has been nothing wrong with that car to explain the trouble I had that day. God was sending me home to my husband when he needed me most.

Angel of the Airwaves

About a year after my Mom died, a very difficult situation occurred in my workplace. Through my duties, it became evident that some very serious and sustained stealing was happening. What I didn't realize was how many people were involved or who they were. It turned out that one of the people I reported my findings to was involved. Even though a lawyer voluntarily helped me deal with the initial fallout, he couldn't protect me from the threats, harrassment, and an assault that followed.

One morning I woke up and I felt I just could not face another day. Being a single parent and having just lost my source of references for the work I'd done for the three years at that company because my supervisor appeared to be implicated, I knew I needed to complete the work I was doing so I would have a decent chance to gain other employment without her endorsement. The tears wouldn't stop. Just then my Mom's face appeared very clearly in front of me and the radio came on. The song? Phil Collins' "You'll Be in My Heart" from the movie Tarzan. The opening line "Come stop your crying it will be alright..." .
That song stayed with me the rest of that day and would start up any time I felt afraid.

A Mother's Goodbye

It was so cool hearing that story (a while ago) about the mother saying good bye because i had a similar thing happen. My mother was in the hospital dying of cancer. The night she died.....she came to say good bye to me. I felt someone gently shake me..........I saw my mom standing by my bed........she said "good bye baby and take care of my little grandbabies....and remember always I LOVE YOU".
Then she was gone. I laid there in bed realizing that what just happened was not a dream. About 5 minutes later the hospital called me to tell me that my mother had just passed away.

A Higher Purpose

January 17, 2000 at about 2am, my then 18 yo son, left my home and walked to a bridge only 9/10's of a mile from my home, climbed upon the railing near the flag and jumped to the ice below.

Theoretically, he was knocked unconscious for 2 hours, the frostbite to his ungloved fingers awoke him, he climbed up and embankment, then walked up a steel flight of stairs and walked the 9/10's of a mile to my home, up another flight of stairs to his bedroom, and when I was awaken by my youngest son crying that his brother was screaming and crying and it was scaring him please come look. I ran quickly up the stairs and opened my sons door.
I found my son, covered in his own feces, eye swollen shut, elbow as big as a cantalope, and deep gouges in his back. I was shocked and kept asking him what happened. He just cried that his hands hurt, I shoved his hands between my legs to warm them as best I could. Crying and begging him to tell me what happened. Then he screamed in pain and flopped back into his bed.

Well, of course we called the ambulance. I thought he had been hit by a truck. He had been acting strange for several months and attempted suicide twice by cutting his wrists. He had begged me to understand that angels had told him that he had to die at his own hand to go to heaven. I tried to take care of him myself, fearing they would take my son and lock him away. Had I known the truth, I would not have awaited to call the hospital.
We found out my son was schizophrenic, and had been seeing demons for over a year. They had been telling him that with the coming of the millineum, that God was taking his spirit away and that the only way to get to heaven was to commit suicide.
Well, he is 21 now and doing very well in a transitional program in the local hospital. I cared for him for 2 years, and obtained full guardianship to make sure he was adhereing to his therapy program. When it got to be too much for me, I had him commited with the help of the courts.

Now, the angelic part, my son does not remember how he got home, and he now believes it was angels and that God has a higher purpose for him as he should have died in that 80 foot jump, because my son broke his back in that fall, and was paralyzed for a month. So you tell me, how did my son get home under such circumstances... I believe it was his angels and mine, that brought him home safe to be healed by my Lord... Thank you if you print this.

Protection from Beyond

It was the early morning hours of 27 August back in 1989. Suddenly, I was awakened by someone lying on top of me. Somehow, a young man that I had been out with the previous evening had gotten back into my apartment. I was tormented for hours and eventually gave up hope and decided that it was time to let go. It was then that I heard my grandmother's voice saying to me, "You need to get up now. Come on!" With these words, I found the strength to break free from my attacker and was able to get away. It was only later that I learned that my grandmother, whom I hadn't been able to see lately, had passed away on the very same day! I truly believe with all of my heart that she saved me as she left this world to be in Heaven.

Rainy Day Angel

One time my husband and I were driving to another state to see my parents. It was raining and the roads were slippery. We were not going fast but all of a sudden the car seemed to just be flying. I told my husband to take his foot off the brake because we were sliding. The car hydroplaned and lifted off the road. The road was a very narrow, crooked back country road. We were headed for a very sharp curve. On one side was a big drop off and the other side was a hill. Either way we were in for big trouble. All of a sudden the car turned completely around, back to the direction we had just come from, and sat down on the ground with the front end right up against a big tree. There was no doubt in my mind that my angels had saved out lives and I will never forget that day.

Jackpot!

This is an odd story but it's true! I got a letter from the phone company they were going to shut off my phone. Without my phone I couldn't talk to my family down-east. They all have pc's and we keep in contact that way. My phone bill was over $200.00 and I tried everywhere to come up with the money. My son would have taken care of it if he had had the money but he did not! My friend and I decided to go to the Casino with $20.00 to play the nichol machines. I was on my last $5.00 and lo and behold I hit the jack-pot for $500.00 dollars. I was in a state of shock. I couldn't believe it! We came home and I went right to the bank and paid my phone bill off. I know that day an Angel was sitting on my shoulder and I believe it was the Love of my Life that passed away in '83.

Sincerely,
Bev

Reassurance

In August of 2001, I went for my yearly physical examination and upon completion of my exam, my doctor said I should go for a colonoscopy because he found traces of blood in my rectal exam. I became totally upset and immediately started to pray. After scheduling the procedure and agonizing for about a month, I got to the day before the test with much anxiety. The procedure is intense and nerve racking to prepare yourself for the test. I prepared the night before the test and with much dread hanging over me, I began praying as I had nightly, for a good test result. I finally got into bed and was trying to relax enough to go to sleep when I felt an extreme sensation of warmth throughout my body. I then heard a voice say "everything will be alright." At that moment I returned to a normal state of not being so warm, turned over and went to sleep with no fear. I reassured my anxious husband and daughter the next morning when I went in for the test that I would be alright. The test results showed no abnormalities. I feel truly grateful for my angel and the reassurance I received that night.

My Dad is my Angel

My mom and dad divorced when I was only 5. For many years I didn't see my dad because of the bitterness between him and mom and because he was paralyzed and in a wheelchair. He couldn't drive to visit me. After I was an adult and married, we made contact and started trying to get to know each other. He tried very hard to make up to me for the years that were lost. He loved my daughter dearly. Six years ago on Nov. 28 my dad passed away. I had a hard time dealing with his death. I practically gave up. I didn't even consider celebrating Christmas. My daughter was only 9. Early one morning, (two weeks before Christmas) I had a vision or dream that changed everything. Dad came to see me. He was walking again. No more wheelchair! He told me he was fine, he loved me and my daughter, and to get up off my butt and do some Christmas shopping that Brittany wouldn't understand why Santa had forgotten her, especially since she was such a good girl. He told me he was watching over me and her and he would always be near. It was so real. I could even smell his cologne. Needless to say I got up, drug out my Christmas decorations and then went shopping. I knew my daddy was smiling. That spring I planted his favorite tree in my yard for him. I would visit it often and chat with dad. His body was buried in another state so visiting his grave often is hard for me. As time went on my husband and I started having marital problems. He started getting very abusive both mentally and physically. I went to 'dad's tree' and asked him for help. Show me a sign I pleaded. I couldn't stand the thoughts of leaving my home and his tree. Within months the tree died. I felt like he was telling me that he was with me whether or not the tree was there or not. My husband put a knife to my throat and I left him. We are divorced now and I am happy again. My daughter is doing great. I know my dad is with me and still watching over me.

I love you daddy.

A Special Call

A very close gentleman friend of mine whom I had known for many years and had shared many dinners together and many fabulous times laughing and sharing our lives together passed away nine months ago. One of his well loved habits was to call me at 7:30 each morning to start our weekday off to a good start. Weekends were at a different time since I usually slept later and called him when I got up. He passed away on a Friday morning and on the following Monday morning at 7:30am, my phone rang one time and when I answered it there was no one there.Deep down inside I know it was him calling to say he was all right and that he was thinking about me

Bernadette

I collect angels and have named mine Bernadette. While on the way to visit my Mom in the nursing home I heard "Stop the car, Now".Startled I did as I was told. This was about l0 feet from the top of a hill. This is a back road in the country, no place to get off. Here comes a van with all four wheels on my side of the road. He swerved and almost wrecked. I will never forget his eyes, big as saucers. I sat calmly watching. Then I cried and thanked God and my guardian angel.

A Mother's Protection

I have encountered angels in my life so many times. The most recent time was yesterday morning on my way to a clinic appointment, I found my self running a red light in one of our busiest and most dangerous intersections. I had cars coming at me from every direction and they all just missed me or I them. It seemed almost like a dream as I swear one of the cars passed right through me. I honestly thought I was going to be dead within minutes. But through it all I was totally relaxed and calm, as if I knew I wasn’t in danger. I next found myself on the other side of the intersection shaken but unhurt with no damage to my car. It was like I “floated” through the intersection to the safety of the other side of the street.

My mother died 31 years ago and I have seen her “spirit” many times and I know that she is now one of my guardian angels. I just know in my heart that mom was riding with me yesterday morning. Everyday before I leave my house I surround myself and my car with angels for protection and serenity. The angels were on the job and did their job wonderfully yesterday morning.

Peace and God’s Blessings,

Dear Dear Zsuzsana,
Last Sunday evening, my guardian angel rescued me. I was baking chicken in the oven and boiling string beans on the right rear burner on top of my stove. I never heard the water start to boil. Instead, I heard a sound like a Bunsen burner, and my smoke detector went off. For what seemed like hours, I thought I was going to be in Heaven. Actually, it was a matter of a minute or so, and I felt the presence of my angel guiding me to the telephone to call 911 for the fire department. I grabbed a few things and Gretal, my guide dog and I ran out of the door. The fire department quickly put out the fire. The corner nearest the stove was damaged, but the rest of the house was spared. Just a lot of clean-up, painting, etc. Praise the Lord and my guardian angel.

An Angel's Promise

We had one child & lost our second baby. When I got pregnant the 3rd time I was sooooo happy!! Well, anyway to make a long story short, I prayed to God that I could keep this baby as we had hoped for more Children I had been in the hospital for 3 days in bed to keep the baby.

It was August the 13th & God or an Angel came to my room which was flooded with light & he said," You aren't going to have this baby but, I promise you will have a baby but, it won't be your own birth child. I had such peace !!! My Priest came to visit me but I wasn't devastated as I knew what he told me was true. We never put in for adoption & 10 mos. later a Dr. called me & asked if we would like a baby & I said yes, of course. Anyway we got another Son & he is 40 this year. So I really believe in God & Angels. Just wanted to share this as it is an experience I will never forget. I told our 40 year old Son this story so he was definitely meant to be with us &, has been with us since he was 3 days old. This has been the most beautiful experience I have ever had in my life & it will be with me forever. ~J.

Earth Angels

Dear Zsuzsana,
In 1993, I lost 2 sons in a car accident in Northern Manitoba. As you may well surmise this was the hardest, most difficult time of my life. However there were several Earth Angels who I would like to mention. My girlfriend Bunny, lived in Northern Alberta, and drove 2 days to get to me. At the time I wondered why she had done this, however I was to learn she was to bring me an attunement from God. This attunement was provided by a desire to bring me the gift of healing and the truth of what the "Footprint" prayer says. This divine gift of energy sustained me for a full year after my immence loss of my two children and my older children's father.

The other Earth Angel was sent by my mom. The day of the funeral, I had forgotten to eat lunch. Entering the hall where the service was held, I suddenly realized, how hunger I was. Since I knew where the kitchen was, I headed for this haven in the havoc.
As I frantically opened frig upon frig at last I came to a frig with sandwiches within, I reached in, grabbed 2 sandwiches, proceeded to wolf them down. Around the corner, came this elderly women, who at first was rather surprised to see this person ravaging the food. With one look she said, "You're the mother of those 2 boys!" I looked in astonishment and said "Yes, how do you know?" She answered " You look just like your Mom." I asked who she was and she informed me she was Renata's Mom and her and Mom loved to visit as they could speak their mother tongue and she informed me how she missed Mom since her passing in 1988. She proceeded to get me a cup of coffee, somemore sandwicheds and then instructed me to go the the washroom and how to get there without being disturbed. I know in my heart my Mom sent her, to take care of me, as she provide the loving arms and support, exactly the way Mom would have, had she been on this plain.

I know God sent me many Earth Angels throughout this journey, however these were divine, in that Arch Angels from the other side sent them to take care of my wounded heart and to guide me through this part of my journey.
I can honestly say I have had the special Grace of God many time in my life, however these are special to me! Take Care all you Earth and Divine Angels wherever you are!

Ice Angel

Many years ago my husband and 2 small daughters, (their ages were 1 1/2, & 2 1/2) lived for a winter at an extremely remote hunting and fishing lodge in the wilderness of Alaska. The nearest people were is a small village about 25 miles away. A small town was around 250 miles as the crow flies.
The lodge sits on top of a small hill over looking 2 different lakes that join together at the point where the lodge is located. Our cabin was down the hill near the shore. The temperature for weeks had been anywhere from a -40 to -80. Depending on the chill factor of the wind. Finally the cold snap had ended, it was a warm day at -5.
We bundled up the girls and took off for a walk. Since it had been so cold the lakes where frozen. The day was so beautiful; it felt great to escape from our small cabin den. We decided to walk out on the lake since it was frozen, and then we could have fun sliding around with the girls. We were about 400 hundred feet from the shore, having such a fun time. Then we heard a rumble coming deep with-in the lake. My husband and I looked at each other for a split-second of horror, hoping that the rumble did not mean that the ice was going to turn. He grabbed our oldest daughter and I grabbed the youngest one, and we ran as fast as we could since the ice was turning under our feet. It was like we were flying to the shore, not running. We got back to the shore and turned around to see that all the smooth ice had turned over and was still turning over. The sound was extremely incredible, but what was even more incredible was the fact that we made it back to the shore so fast.

My husband and I looked at each other and knew that the only way we could have made it back to shore that fast was that our Guardian Angel was looking out for us. After the girls went to bed that night my husband and I talked about the near death experience and we both agreed that our feet felt extremely light at the time and that we almost felt like we were gliding fast to shore, not really walking.
As it turns out, we were never given the knowledge that the 2 lakes where they join has a stream that feeds into the 2 lakes, so the lakes usually never freeze at this point.
The temperature had been so cold for so long that the lakes were able to freeze for a little while. The last time the lakes has frozen like that had been around 21 years ago, so that is why we were never given this important safety information.
I still often think about this incident even though it was 30 years ago, and I know that a Guardian Angel definitely was looking out for our family on that long ago, sunny, beautiful crystal-cold clear day.

Christmas Driving

Several years ago for my parents' Christmas present, I decided to decorate their house. I bought so many decorations,I ended up needing to borrow a truck! A friend had just purchased a new open cab Toyota truck he said I could drive from Atlanta to my parents in Anderson, SC. On the way, I passed an elderly couple pulled off on the opposite side of the road. I turned around, but by the time I got to them, a State Trooper had arrived, and was helping them. They,God Love Them, had run out of gas! I get turned around, headed back my way, when going up an incline, the truck starts choking and sputtering!! I had run out of gas! I pulled over, locked it up, and walked to the back of everything, and prayed! I prayed Heavenly Father, Holy Angels, Please watch over my Christmas, and I took off walking! I walked to the patrol station where the trooper I had just met was. He took me to get fuel, and on our way back, as we're getting closer to the truck, I saw an 18 wheeler truck pulled in behind it! I thought "OH NO HE'S STEALING MY CHRISTMAS!!!" But, as we got closer, I began to tell the Officer," I KNOW I PULLED OFF OF THE INTERSTATE" The clutch in the truck had popped on the incline, and rolled onto I-85!! The truck driver saw this truck coming backwards, wondered what he was doing, began to slow down, then realized there was nobody in it, literally!! Praise Be To JESUS, and my incredible ANGELS HE has sent me, the 18 wheeler caught my truck on his bumper!! The only damage done was to the 18 wheeler's bumper, and it was so small of a crack, the driver said to not worry about it!! I just can't Thank Jesus and my Angels enough for all of the love and protection they give!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JESUS, AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL,

Road Angels to the Rescue

I was 65 at the time and I worked for a health department who often sent employees to seminars. I was sent to a seminar in Tampa, fl. about two half hours from my home town. I like to travel the old highways and not superhighways. so I was peaceful and happy and felt good driving down route 301 on my way to Tampa, when all of a sudden a tractor trailer lost control of his rig, went off the road and he evidently tried to straighten it out which is impossible, and the trailer part was heading straight into my car. It was so close and no way to get away, bit for some reason I was calm and not afraid and not afraid to die. But a force like I've never seen came and pushed that trailer straight on the highway and it missed me by inches. I saw it being pushed straight but I could not see anyone. I know it had to be angels. Well, the driver never stopped and continued on, but the two cars that were behind me were stopped amd of course shaking, and one made a remark 'I saw angels pushing the trailer back away from you.' God spared me that day.

Angel at Play

My husband and I were strolling our little girl down our long driveway and we stopped off to look at one of the trees and left the stroller in the driveway beside us. We were looking at the tree and I noticed our little girl holding her little hands in the air like she was asking to be picked up. I told my husband to look at her because she was still holding her hands in the air and smiling and laughing like someone was playing with her. Then she turned around in her seat and was waving and saying bye bye. She was not waving towards my husband and myself but was waving toward the empty pasture. After a few seconds she then turned to us and just smiled. I knew then that angels were playing with my little girl and she was the only one to see them.

Somewhere Out There...

I just wanted to share my story. Even though I am only 14, I enjoy reading about angel experiences. Mine happened just last night. We (my family) were driving in the car, returning from our first family vacation without my dad.(he died of cancer a month ago.) It was late at night(3:00 am) and my mom was completely freaking out because she was afraid that she was going to fall asleep at the wheel and she was wishing that my dad were there with us. I prayed that God or my dad would send her a sign just to let her know that she was being watched over. All of a sudden, a man called into the radio station that we were listening to, wanting to request a song. He said that his name was Ron(my dad's name) and he wanted to request that they play the song "Somewhere out There" (my mom's favorite song) for his wife Chris (my mom's name). All of my younger brothers and sisters and I knew that my dad was watching over my mom, and she knew it too.
Best Wishes,
Katie : )

Angelic Messenger

My angel story is..... Last Sunday I was sitting on the balacony relaxing with my son and his family after a good lunch .... Our conversation finally turned to my mother who had died about fifteen years ago..... I was about to tell the story of the time when my eight year old granddaughter, as a baby, was sat on my lap playing when she suddenly called out 'Nana'.... And pointed to the door..... The baby laughed and giggled, nodded and shook her head as if in conversation....Now I know babies often talk to themselves, but this time there was something different about it... Her expression was such that I was convinced that she was talking to my mother.....Of course I had doubts that I would be believed so had never told a living soul...... However.. before I could tell my story a beautiful golden butterfly had landed within a few feet of us... The gold glistened as if caught in the sun's rays.... But the day was cloudy..... We sat in total silence until the butterfly finally flew away.....In my fifty eight years of life I have never seen anything like it......
I truly feel that this precious insect was an angelic messenger.....
I proceeded to tell my story....
I was believed....

Hi! I am blind and haven't been able to see for over 35 years. I am also a fairly new Christian, just under two years. So what happened this night totally surprised me and changed my Life.

Sunday night, June 30, we were having our Independence day Celebration and the grad night for the vacation Bible school classes. If I ever doubted angels still show up on earth, those doubts have been banished! The kids were divided up by age groups and were each singing one patriotic song and a Christian one. The kids were so cute and giving their hearts for all they were worth, singing and so on.

One class was singing God Bless America when he appeared. Why no one else saw him, I do not understand he was so bright I don't understand how any one missed him. I nudged my wife, who is also visually impaired, and asked her if she saw him, and she asked me who?

He stood out in front between the audience and the stage. kind of half turned to watch both the audience and the kids. he started with his arms folded, but when the kids finished and started down the steps he opened his arms as if to embrace each and all of them! Now bearing in mind I haven't seen anything since I was a boy, about 7 years old, This totally stunned me!

No one will convince me angels aren't still around.

When we got home, I felt compelled to write the poem below.

A Visitor

As the children sang,
A silent bell rang.

The warmth of his presence grew,
And his light filled the room!

His love you could feel,
And as the children sang you could see him, arms spread wide,

to place God's seal of love, on them!

His Eyes were blue fire,
his robe shone with white light!
His hair was glowing gold,
and his face was neither young or Old!

He bent his head over each child, and you remember Jesus's words!

"Let the children come to me!"

have a blessed day!

Daisy

Like many other people, I have had many angel experiences in my 36 years but I think one of the nicest experiences for me came when I was 19.

Growing up in my family, I was always surrounded by animals of various sorts, but the one pet that stood out above all others was the family dog, Daisy. We got her as a 6 week old pup and we named her Daisy because she looked just like the dog from the Dagwood and Blondie comic strip. She pretty much went everywhere with us - on all the family vacations, trips to the grocery store, and even moved from coast-to-coast and back again on our many military postings. She used to patrol the halls at night time going from room to room making sure everyone was tucked safe in bed before she would curl up and go to sleep. She even adopted a stray kitten once. We brought the kitten into the house, and Daisy took over from there. That cat followed her everywhere. She even used to nurse him at night.

As you can see she was quite an unusual dog, so you can understand that we were devastated when at the age of 15 years she was diagnosed with cancer. She managed to survive three surgeries to remove tumours in her abdomen over a span of 4 years and she always managed to rebound. Anyone seeing her for the first time thought she was a dog of half her years because she had so much spunk. Unfortunately, the cancer finally won and the final trip to the vets, at the ripe old age of 19, confirmed that her cancer had spread to her mouth and was growing in to her lungs. My father called my mother at home to give us the news that he wouldn't be bringing her home. We were, of course, devastated, and couldn't imagine not having her around, but we knew we couldn't watch her suffer. We had openly discussed in the past that the minute we thought she was suffering in any way, we would euthanise her. So we decided that it was best to let her go. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to say goodbye since my father could not face having to take her home and then back again the next day. He was afraid he would be unable to make the trip again if he brought her home and we knew it was the best thing for her.

Daisy was put to sleep on November 18th, and it was an extremely hard loss for all of us, but she had her way of letting us know she was OK where she was. That very same moment she was at the vets being put to sleep, my sister, who was living in Germany at the time, called us to ask what was wrong with Daisy. We were planning on calling her later to tell her, but she told us that she was sitting watching the news and she just knew something was wrong. The other unusual thing about this day was the fact that outside the house, on the front lawn, there was a single white daisy in bloom. We could see it from the kitchen window. Now, this may not seem all that unusual, but what I didn't mention was that I live in Canada, and by mid-November, the frost and snow have pretty much killed any and all plants. But that one daisy was determined to show itself that day.

I still have that Daisy pressed in the pages of a bible, as my reminder that angels come in all shapes and sizes.

Whispers

When my daughters were not yet in grade school, I decided to take them to see Santa Claus at the Mall. When I placed the girls in the car a voice whispering in my head, told me to make sure they were strapped in with the seat belts. I never put the girls in the front seat. I also decided it woule be a good idea that I did. Not more than 3/4 of a mile from home, when I stopped at a stop sign a car broad sided us on the driver's side. Thank God no one was hurt! But I do believe there was an Angel looking out for us! The car was totaled!

God Said.....

When my husband came home from VietNam in April 1970 we had a little boy 18 months old and I wanted to have another child. Because he was a ground troop and was sprayed with Agent Orange it caused us to have problems having another child. I had 3 miscarriages within two years. I then got pregnant again and at 10 weeks I almost lost that baby. I was closely monitored and spent the next 18 weeks mostly in bed when I went into labor @28 weeks. My daughter was born weighing 2 lbs and 8 oz. They did not expect her to live but at the moment she was born I prayed so hard. I truly believed she would live. I could not believe that God would take her from me after almost losing her by carrying her long enough for her to be able to survive. The Dr's came in my room and told me she was holding her own but they were not hopeful at all. I laid in that bed and prayed for my daughter to live and I saw God sitting in the chair next to me smiling saying your daughter will be fine. I felt a peace come over me and I refused to listen to the Dr. saying anything negative to me.

She has had a lot of medical problems through the years but I knew my little one was meant to be and I had the Lord come to me and tell me. I have my daughter because I believed with all my heart that she was meant to be. She will be celebrating her 29th birthday very soon.

Amber's Acknowledgement

I am 25 years old and have lived with my grandparents since I was 17. My grandfather was and is my best friend. He passed away May 10th. This May is 2 years. Anyway, my grandfather and myself are avid animal lovers. Anytime we have found something such as a hurt pigeon, dog, squirrel, whatever, we have taken it in. I had a dog named Scottie that would only relate to me. He suddenly disappeared from our home about 3 months after my grandfather passed. I was extremely upset emotionally about this. A few weeks later, I had a dream that I was standing in our garage. We have an attic door that pulls down. Well, in my dream my grandfather came out of the attic door reached down and grabbed my dog, took him up in the attic with him and closed the door. I knew right then that not only was my dog with my grandfather, but that my grandfather was in heaven due to the fact he had to come down to get the dog and went back up. I have been touched ever since and talk to my grandfather every day because I somehow know he is listening.

The Rose

In 1999 March 31st, my son passed away. He was only thirty -eight, but before he passed he told me "Ma! when I go home, there are two things I want you to do, 1, turn me loose so that I can go "home" and 2, look for a bud on that dead rose bush" I said alright, but as you know I was torn up on the inside, my heart was beating so fast I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Well on March 31st at 2:45 pm he quietly slipped away ( the same time and the same day he was born). Two months later, there was a big huge beautiful red crimson rose on a dead bush that had been dead for some time, just one, and I heard his voice say " I'm happy, Mommie, sooo happy please don't cry" don't tell me we can't converse with our loved ones that have gone home to JESUS!!! ~ "LadyMary"

Go Back!

G'day
I have been reading your subscription for some time now and after one particular story decided to share mine with you.

Firstly I am going back 12 1/2 years to the birth of my first child (I have 4 now) After a wondeful pregnancy with no complications I gave birth after a 14 hour labour, I held my new son and cried with joy, he was so beautiful and perfect....then there was a complication.....I kept bleeding. I found myself looking down at me on the table from the ceiling of the labour ward. I could see my husband with our newborn son James in his arms, a worried look on his face, sitting beside me watching the doctor work on me... trying to stop the bleeding. I could see the beads of sweat on the doctors forehead and heard him say " I don't know where it's coming from!!"
The nurse covered me with one of those silver thermal blankets and got a plasma drip going into my arm. My blood pressure had dropped to nothing, in the next instant I was in a tunnel full of bright white light, floating along towards it. I felt so peaceful and calm. A figure materialised as if by magic from the wall of the tunnel and said to me " GO BACK your son needs you " and then he disappeared again. Then I felt someone softly slapping my face and I heard the midwife say "Are you with us?" I replied " Just "
I believe my angel was my grandfather, my mothers father, to whom as a child I was very close and whose funeral was the first I ever went to when I was a young girl in my teens. At first I was afraid to tell anyone what I had seen but since then I have other things happen or have heard other stories to help me accept what happened to me as something very special.

Special Candlelight Service

About 10 years ago, at Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, in our church, we had lit our (individual) candles. We went through the ritual of holding them high, showing the power of the light they gave, as Jesus, the Light of the World. Just as everyone blew out the candles, putting us in darkness, I looked toward the altar and saw an angel standing in the center. I was shaken and turned to the person in the pew behind me. She asked me "what's wrong"? and I asked, "Don't you see it?" She said no, but when I turned back to the altar it was still there! It filled the whole space, floor to ceiling and gave off an illumination of its own.
I have no idea why I was the privileged one to see such a sight, but I'll never forget it!
