Hi Everyone:

We had something funny happen here a few days ago that I'd like to share. One of my cats, Mystic, is forever playing with some unseen entities in the house - it has both me and my s/o (who is a total non-believer) puzzled. A few days ago, Mystic was acting all nutty again. Just prior to that I'd had some strange noises and things happen, and my s/o and I were talking about it. All of a sudden, my s/o glances down the front hallway from the living room and looks startled. When I ask what it is, he says, 'where are the cats? I just saw one of them zip across the front hallway.' Well, both of our cats were sitting right there in our living room.

I grabbed my little digital recorder and immediately started to walk all around the house snapping pictures, to see if anything would come out on the photos. Sure enough, although the rest of the photos were all normal, the very first one I snapped of our empty front hallway shows a clear orb on it. Another pic taken there 2 or 3 minutes later show nothing.

This is one of my favourite 'captures' because even my resident 'Doubting Thomas' was convinced this time that something was there:>)

Hi! I just got my photos back from the presentation my colleague and I did on Ghosts and Hauntings at the Banff Springs Hotel in Alberta earlier this month.

This picture startled me, until I finally remembered what may have caused the anomalies. We were on a tour of the entire castle with about 60 in our group, and on one of the lower levels, we all felt a definite presence and strange energies. I was taking pictures randomly throughout the whole tour, but here, where the energy was strongest, I began to snap the picture and the buttom just lovked up when it was only half depressed, making a strange noise that all the people nearby heard and remarked on. The camera just seemed to freeze up. The camera itself is a SLR Pentax MZ50 - a fairly fancy piece of equipment that has only ever given me trouble on ghost investigations.

I waited about a minute and then tried to snap the picture again, and this time it worked, so obviously, I got a double exposure, but I have no idea what the strange squiggles and such are.

Any ideas?
